This was stated by the Head of the Kyiv office of the URF, Viktoriia Korsunova.
– Preparation of the project for implementation continues. The list of athletes from Ukraine and the United States who are joining the charity mission is growing. And I don’t think it is final. We work with people who have achieved a high level of success in their careers. Everyone has their own opinion on changes in the situation with the development of children’s sports in Ukraine. We accept and carefully study all proposals, – she said.
Ms. Viktoriia added that the Fund is primarily formulating a roadmap that will allow for the most efficient use of the project’s intellectual and financial resources.
– We are not talking about giving children a net of balls, uniforms, or painting the walls in the gym. No! The point is to change the very approach to the development of children’s sports. These are the requirements of our partners who are ready to support us, – explained the head of the office.
In August, representatives of the Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund together with well-known Ukrainian athletes discussed their participation in the humanitarian project “World Athletes for Children of Ukraine”. The project was initiated by US athletes to support Ukrainian youth.
